The First Continental Congress | God's Providential Hand | Josh Blair | June 10, 2026
The First Continental Congress emerged from a historical context where Christianity and biblical principles guided the American colonies’ resistance to British rule. Prayer and unity among various denominations played crucial roles, influenced by the Great Awakening. This movement shaped the colonists’ views on liberty and governance, leading to the Suffolk Resolves and a united response against oppressive laws. The lesson emphasizes the need for divine guidance and moral integrity in challenging tyranny.
